Update

Dear Families,

There was an Ameritown letter sent home in Friday Folders. If you are interested in volunteering for our January 25th field trip, please let me know as soon as possible.

We will be working on Non-Fiction literature for ROCK this week. The students will be provided with articles to read, but should still read 30 min. to add to their books read and words read goals. Be sure they are filling out their Books Read sheet in their ROCK binders!

In the swing of school!

We are in the full swing of school! Last week we did not assign ROCK for homework, but this week we will be working on Making Predictions as we are reading. The students are required to read 30 minutes each night and then record their predictions on their ROCK sheets. Please be sure to sign their ROCK sheet each night as well. We are wrapping up our first unit in math and will be jumping on to the next unit later this week. Please keep your eyes out for the Unit 2 parent letter and Unit 1 assignments at the end of the week. I am looking forward to talking with each of you this week during our goal setting conferences!
